I have done some teaching in secondary schools. At Heathside School in Weybridge I taught Alevel Painting and at George |Abbot I worked with the Year 9 pupils in their Arts Week, producing2.5m x 3m film posters. Picture 2.5m x 3m film posters.
I currently run two Art Clubs for children. One for children aged seven to nine years old and one for older children from ten years, up to age thirteen. My classes are small, up to five children, so the children get to learn a new skill each week and have the camaraderie of working together and feeding off each other. I love the opportunity to pass on my skills and to see the children's work flourish as young artists! I also occasionally volunteer at the local primary school on artwork relating to the children’s topic.
I also tutor children one a one to one basis to both GCSE and A level.
For adults, over the last three years, I have been teaching Life in Colour, a painting course, at Ericaeous Studios in Dorking, and more recently, from my studio at home.
I am also an Associate Teacher up at the University of Surrey where I have taught Scenic Art as a part of the Sceneography Module on the Technical Theatre Degree course in GSA. (Guildford School of Acting).
